Emails

Dear Michael Baker,

Here is some information regarding the poster panels (for the posters you will be presenting after your talk):

1. The size of the poster panels: 1401 x 966 mm 2. We will have "power tape" for affixing the posters to the panels ("power tape" = a double-sided tape that can be used to easily apply the posters to the panels without destroying either of them.)

We look forward to seeing you in Salzburg!

Juergen Teich and Nik Dutt CODES+ISSS 2007 Program Co-Chairs

Dear Author,

Please remember to sumbit your paper, "CODES+ISSS'07 Full Paper / Smart Driver for Power Reduction in Next Generation Bi-Stable Electrophoretic Display Technology", for publication in the esweek proceeding.

REMINDER NOTICE, SAVE THIS EMAIL.

Your ESWEEK 2007 paper submission id# is in the subject line above, and a link to submit the final version of your submission is below. Note the prefix prior to the numeric (ems=emsoft, cases, and codes=codes+isss). If you are not the contact author, please forward to the correct contact author at your earliest.

Formatting and submission instructions of your FINAL VERSION are available at:
www.sheridanprinting.com/typedept/esweek.htm Then click on the logo for the conference you are contributing (CASES, CODES+ISSS, or EMSOFT)

Kindly adhere to the page limits and the submission deadline. Kindly submit on or before July 13th, 2007 (9:00 AM (morning) EST, New York time). The submission site is ready. Early submissions are encouraged and will be appreciated.

Dear Michael Baker,

Your login name: mbaker7 Paper ID: 1122 PaperTitle: Smart Driver for Power Reduction in Next Generation Bi-Stable Electrophoretic Display Technology

On behalf of the CODES+ISSS 2007 Program Committee, we are delighted to inform you that the following paper has been accepted to appear at the conference:

1122: Smart Driver for Power Reduction in Next Generation Bi-Stable Electrophoretic Display Technology

This year, CODES+ISSS had a large number of submitted papers, which made the selection process very difficult and competitive.

The Program Committee worked very hard to review all the submitted papers and to make sure all papers got at least 4, and often between 6 to 7 reviews. Please repay their efforts by following their suggestions when you revise your paper. We consider this of extreme importance - your paper was accepted under the premises that you will take a good look at the reviewers' comments and modify your paper when applicable.

You can access the reviews for your paper directly from the submissions web site (http://online.esweek.org) using the same id/pw that you used for submitting the paper.

Note that in order for your final paper to appear in the conference proceedings, at least one author must register early, and confirm to present the paper at the conference. Detailed registration information will follow shortly.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF FINAL PAPERS

In the next few days you will receive an email from the publisher (ACM Press / Sheridan printing) including instructions on how to prepare and upload the final version of your manuscript.

The final version of your paper MUST be uploaded by JULI 12, 2007. Do not send your final manuscript to the program co-chairs!

Your paper is allowed a maximum of 6 (six) pages in the proceedings. Pages in excess of 6 (six) will be automatically cut out. Many papers used color in figures. Since the papers will be printed in black and white make sure your color figures (if you have them) print clearly in black and white.

Given the short amount of time till JULY 12, please start preparing your final manuscript as soon as possible (even before you receive the email with final instructions), so you will be sure not to miss the date.

FINAL VERSION DEADLINE: JULY 12, 2007

At this point we need to have your assurance that you will prepare the final version of your paper and present it at the conference. Please read and return the following statement to teichTemplate:Insert @cs.fau.de as soon as possible and no later than July 1, 2007. By returning this statement you are committing to register and attend the conference and present the paper. Please include your name, paper title and number in your email.

"I, the author, will prepare and send the final version of the manuscript by JULY 12, 2007, and obtain any necessary permission from my employer to publish the paper. I, the author, also commit to register in advance, attend the conference and present the paper at the CODES+ISSS 2007 Conference, Salzburg Congress Center, Salzburg, Austria between September 30 and October 05, 2007."

PRESENTATION AT THE CONFERENCE

CODES+ISSS has traditionally used the format of a 30-minute presentation followed by a poster discussion. As a speaker, you are required to prepare a presentation and a poster for your paper. Each regular paper presentation is allotted 30 minutes, being 25 min for the actual talk, and 5 min for questions. Each session is immediately followed by Poster discussions, in which you will be asked to stand by your poster and be available to answers questions.

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

In a few weeks, you will be sent details on the Audio/Visual facilities at the conference to help you prepare your presentation. You will be required to send your presentation in advance (by September 15, 2007) to the CODES+ISSS AV Chair Paul Pop (paul.popTemplate:Insert @imm.dtu.dk).

Once again congratulations on your accepted paper and thank you for your contribution to the CODES+ISSS technical program. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,

Jürgen Teich and Nikil Dutt
